A full color embroidered tab of scarlet with the inscription "248TH ARMY BAND" in golden yellow 5/16 inch (.79 cm) letters, edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) golden yellow border. The overall dimensions are 3 7/8 inches (9.84 cm) in length and 11/16 inch (1.75 cm) in width. The tab was approved on 1 June 2006.
